Miles for Marines held its “Crucible 15K” and its “Double-Time 5K” Saturday at Westminster Park in Rock Hill to honor those who have served in the Corps.

This year’s run was dedicated to Lance Cpl. Kyle Carpenter, still recovering from a November hand grenade blast in Afghanistan.

The race supports the Semper Fi Fund, which provides assistance to Marines and sailors who have been injured since Sept. 11.
