Ongoing Giving Opportunities: Fidelis Canoe Paddle

December 18th, 2012

With a slim and traditional blade shape these paddles are graceful in and out of the water. They are perfect for lazy turns around the lake of for gracing the wall of your cabin (though we ask that you not make it their final resting place). Each is a laminated combination of western red cedar, aspen and black walnut, and finished with a durable varnish dip. Individually hand crafted on the banks of the Mississippi in Southern Minnesota, by Sanborn Canoe, each paddle has slight differences from the other—something we think makes them all the better.

The painted design draws its form from the Armed Service's Global War on Terrorism-Expeditionary Medal: making it a very tangible and symbolic display of the notion that everyone has a responsibility in our collective future. A portion of each sale is donated to the Semper Fi Fund.

These paddles are sold individually. Please visit the website for more information and to place your order.
