Ride 430 raises $300K for the Semper Fi Fund

The fifth year of the Ride 430 Challenge, formerly known as Ride for Semper Fi, began on Wednesday, October 10th in Scottsdale, Arizona, and ended on Camp Pendleton, California on Saturday, October 13th.

The Semper Fi Fund was there on Saturday to give a warm welcome to the riders as they arrived at Camp Pendleton and completed their journey. We would like to express our gratitude to this incredibly dedicated group (this year, sixty-five riders strong) who continually support the Semper Fi Fund!

The Ride 430 raised $300K for the Semper Fi Fund this year. To all of the Ride 430 riders, the Semper Fi Fund thanks you from the bottom of our hearts for your incredible efforts and inspiring dedication to our crucial mission of "serving those who preserve our freedom!"

About the Ride 430 Challenge:
The Ride is a four-day, 430-mile challenge in which cyclists must complete more than 100 miles each day, including mountain climbs. In addition to training and completing the ride, participants must fundraise, with the average rider raising more than $6,600 for the cause; this is more per rider than any other event of its kind.

Money raised by the Ride 430 Challenge supplements military assistance and bridges gaps to help injured service members, as well as help families who have lost loved ones, recover. The funding helps provide everything from financial assistance and scholarships, to adaptive sports equipment or camps for kids who have lost a parent in combat.

Special thanks to Boeing and Wells Fargo for sponsoring this event!
