Multi-talented Marine Veteran Will Participate in TCS NYC Marathon to Fundraise for Top Rated Veteran Non-Profit

Who: Best known as Detective Alvarez in Gotham and Lieutenant Powers on The Night Shift, actor, philanthropist and Marine Corps combat Veteran J.W. Cortes announces his support of the Semper Fi Fund as a community athlete and fundraiser at the TCS New York City Marathon.
The Brooklyn-born Cortes spent nearly 13 years as an active-duty Marine. He served in Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom and attained the rank of Gunnery Sergeant. His citations include the Combat Action Ribbon, Navy & Marine Corps Achievement Medals and Marine of the Year.
WHAT: TCS NYC marathon : J.W. Cortes: actor, singer and philanthropist will participate as a community athlete, fundraiser and supporter of the Semper Fi Fund.
