A few months ago, Glenn Douglas, owner of LA Custom Pools of Yucaipa, got a call for a swimming pool bid and met with U.S. Marine Cpl. Justin Crabbe. After the initial meeting, Douglas decided he wanted to donate time and money for a specially-designed pool for Crabbe, a decorated soldier who was injured in 2011 while serving on his second deployment in Afghanistan when an improvised explosive device exploded and resulted in the loss of part of his left hand and both legs above the knees.
