When more than 200 service members from all branches of the military gather to test each other’s skills in seven sports (archery, swimming, shooting, cycling, track and field, sitting volleyball, and wheelchair basketball), the result is a level of competition that is both intense and inspiring -- and memories that will last a lifetime.

10th Annual Cherry Run 4 Charity 5K

Washington, DC - In one of his final acts as commandant of the Marine Corps, Gen. Jim Amos pinned Semper Fi Fund founder Karen Guenther with a solid gold eagle, globe and anchor, signaling her admission into the exclusive order of honorary Marines.

Rico Roman, U.S. Paralympic star, helps open 2014 Warrior Games presented by Deloitte

Paralympic champion Rico Roman, a retired Army Staff Sergeant, was an honorary torchbearer for the 2014 Warrior Games presented by Deloitte. He lit the cauldron after receiving the torch from teammate Paul Schaus, a retired Marine Corps Corporal.

This will also be the 29th Anniversary of the Wine Country Marine Corps Birthday Ball. COLORADO SPRINGS, CO - Every year, thousands of injured, ill and wounded service members vie for just 200 coveted slots in the annual Warrior Games, a six-day, Paralympic-style competition for the five branches of the military.
