Arlington, VA - Ruck to Remember (60-to-60) is a mission of remembrance as individuals join and become a team of patriots, rucking/hiking 60 miles through historically revered ground, over rugged terrain, roads, and through cities as the team descends into Washington DC in the early hours of Memorial Day morning for a final sunrise ruck over Memorial Bridge into Section 60 of Arlington National Cemetery (section 60). Hugh Hewitt Memorial Day Show 2014

National - This Memorial Day weekend, nationally syndicated radio talk show host, Hugh Hewitt, will be hosting a special on the Semper Fi Fund as we celebrate a Decade of Dedication supporting our wounded, critically-ill and injured service members and their families. Hugh will be talking to our service members about their injuries, their recoveries and the assistance they've received from the Semper Fi Fund. Paddling Practice Nic Doucette, a 2005 graduate of Jefferson High School, will be paddling 2,552 miles to raise $25,000 for the Semper Fi Fund, a nonprofit organization that helps veterans recover from catastrophic injuries in a number of ways. He will kayak the entire length of the Mississippi River this summer. He will start at Lake Itasca in Minnesota on May 31, and spend approximately two-and-a-half months paddling south until he reaches the Gulf of Mexico.
