For the second year in a row, GoDaddy founder Bob Parsons is doubling up his year-end matching-gift push to raise money for wounded veterans through the Semper Fi Fund.
The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation pledged $5-million as a matching gift this year after Mr. Parsons offered matching grants of $1-million in 2012 and $2.5-million in 2013, with support from GoDaddy Cares. Read the rest of this entry »

It marked the 39th running of the Marine Corps Marathon--and the 10th year that the Semper Fi Fund has been involved with this incredible and inspirational event. Of the 27,422 entrants in this year’s Marathon, more than 900 runners and cyclists participated as Semper Fi Fund Community Athletes (more than 730 of them!) and members of Team Semper Fi and Team America's Fund. WASHINGTON (WNEW) — The Marine Corps Marathon, also known as “The People’s Marathon,” symbolizes the values of the Marine Corps.
Many service members ran or pedaled the 26.2 miles for those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Washington, DC - A Marine who lost his legs to an IED in Afghanistan will be one of dozens of handcyclists racing alongside runners in the Marine Corps Marathon Sunday.
