Thank you Go Daddy and The Bob and Renee Parsons Foundation!

December 23rd, 2012

On Friday December 7th, Go Daddy hosted a huge year-end Holiday party at Chase Field in Phoenix, AZ where Bob and Renee Parsons presented the Semper Fi Fund with checks totaling $2 million. The first $1 million check came from generous donors, including Go Daddy customers, the second $1 million check represented the matching funds from Go Daddy and the Bob and Renee Parsons Foundation who began their United States Marine Corps 237th birthday tribute with matching gifts campaign in November. On hand were approximately 5,000 employees and guests including Nascar driver Danica Patrick and IndyCar star James Hinchcliffe. Semper Fi Fund's Karen Guenther, Sondria Saylor, and Karen Kawachi accepted the check along with wounded service members, Eddie Wright, Tony Porta, Manny Delrio and Aaron Mankin.

"Our Semper Fi Fund members are blessed to have the support of Go Daddy and The Bob and Renee Parsons Foundation. Their matching fund program was not something we expected. This money will definitely make a difference with so many of our veterans." - Semper Fi Fund President, CEO and Founder Karen Guenther

The Holiday party was a fantastic way to celebrate this amazing effort and inspiring dedication to our nation's injured service members. On behalf of the entire Semper Fi Fund family, THANK YOU Go Daddy, The Bob and Renee Parsons Foundation, and ALL of who donated to this campaign and share in our crucial mission of "serving those who preserve our freedom!"
