Las Vegas, NV – GySgt Jonathan Perrine started participating in the Mud Run race series and the Spartan Races to keep himself active in 2011, and yet he wanted to go beyond the training for the PFT (the Marine Corps Physical Fitness Test) of just three miles. These races provide obstacles, emphasize getting dirty, and provide challenges beyond running.
He has continued to participate in runs, while at the same time trying to help out fellow brothers and sisters in the Marines who need it the most. He plans to do this by continuing to participate in these series of races during the 2012 year and fundraise for the Semper Fi Fund. Being a Gunnery Sergeant in the Marine Corps, Jonathan sets an example for his juniors about training, setting goals, and reaching those goals.
His personal goal is to fundraise $5000 over the year. Help him reach it by donating to his fundraising page!
