Team Semper Fi to take part in 23rd Annual Blossom Bike Ride

Reedley, CA – The Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund will be sending 18 team members from Team Semper Fi to take part in this weekend’s Reedley Lions Club’s 23rd Annual Kings River Blossom Bike Ride.

This will be the third year the team has participated in the race. “Team Semper Fi loves the Blossom Bike Ride because of the warm welcome they receive from the community,” said Laura Johansson, Team Semper Fi Manager. “The team is also excited about the ride because it is the first ride of the season after training indoors all winter.”

Team Semper Fi is an athletic sports team made up of more than 300 injured service members who compete in athletic events across the country. With their motto “Recovery Through Sport,” Team Semper Fi is a rehabilitative sports program offered by the Semper Fi Fund. The team is made up of service men and women who have overcome significant challenges and refused to let their injuries prevent them from competing in athletic events.
