Savannah has graciously offered to host this fundraiser! We (HTS Stylists, Heather Howard and Stacey Reynolds) will be donating 15% of the total sales to the Semper Fi Fund for all items purchased from this event.
HTS is a new company, only 18 months old, and is headed up by a Navy spouse. Our roots are in the military community and we are fashion on a mission! Heather and Stacey are the local stylists in the area. HTS sells all the latest trends in clothing, jewelry, handbags and accessories and is committed to giving back to the community! Dumfries, Virginia – Organized by Ron and Betty Jane Chidlow, this event will be held in their neighborhood, Four Seasons, at Historic Virginia, off of 234 in Dumfries, Virginia.
The Chidlows are collecting $10 donations for luminary kits, which include ten small white bags and ten votive candles. Luminaries will be lit at dusk on November 11th in honor of our men and women in all the Armed Services. 100% of the profits will go directly to the Semper Fi Fund. This is the seventh year their community has participated in this event. Four Seasons is a gated community and those wishing to see the luminaries should plan to do so before 8:00PM.

GATHERING over a kitchen table and glasses of wine in early 2003, a group of officers' wives at Camp Pendleton, Calif., cobbled together a plan for helping Marines injured during the invasion of Iraq.
First they distributed snacks and toiletries at hospitals, then they bought plane tickets and special equipment for wounded Marines and their families. Volunteers all, the wives assumed that the war would end in 2004, allowing them to go happily out of business.

El Dorado Hills, CA – Author and speaker Nick "Gunny Pop" Popaditch–the "Cigar Marine"–is launching a line of cigars with a portion of the proceeds going to support the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund to honor his fellow military men and women. In recognition of the Marine Corps' Birthday, Nick will unveil his new cigar line at a special event held Nov. 10, 2012, at 6:00 p.m. at Art of Cigars in El Dorado Hills, Calif. The first two premium hand-rolled cigars to be released under the "Cigar Marine" line are "The Gunny" (a double-wrapped Torpedo) and "The Tanker" (a mild spiced Rum). Camp Pendleton Marine Lt. Col. Tres Smith was one of three injured servicemen who accompanied 65 cyclists earlier this month on a 430-mile fundraising bike ride from Scottsdale, Ariz., to Camp Pendleton that raised $300,000 for the Semper Fi Fund, which supports injured Marines and their families. Recently, several members of Team Semper Fi traveled with our CEO, President, and Founder, Karen Guenther, to the Landstuhl Hospital in Germany. It was a powerful and emotional trip, as the service members reunited with the medical technicians who helped them through the initial stages of their survival and recovery.

Johnny McCallon felt forgotten.
He served his country for 16 years and suffered a traumatic brain injury after an improvised explosive device blew him out of a second story window during a tour of duty in Iraq. He later developed post traumatic stress disorder in addition to back and leg injuries he sustained during the blast. As a result, he was medically discharged from the Marine Corps in 2007. Each November, in honor of Veterans Day, the Military Services Department invites patriotic sponsors, donors, industry professionals and employers to join forces and deliver an exclusive sequence of events for our Veteran community particular to each program of study.
This year, on Saturday, November 10th, the GI Film Festival joins our institution for their Hollywood debut for our film students. Another new edition is our association with the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. A Game Tournament for our animation and game production students, as well as a game and film sound event will complete the daytime roster of events. These enrichment activities will conclude the evening's events: an award ceremony culminating in a dinner and auction at our campus in Hollywood, on the 237th birthday of the United States Marine Corps.
Net proceeds from sponsorships and the auction will benefit the Semper Fi Fund, a 501(c)3, as well as the GI Film Festival, a veteran-owned and operated 501(c)3.

City of Industry, CA – The Land of the Free Foundation is pleased to be partnered with the Pacific Palms and Conference Center in the City of Industry, California and the Industry Hills Golf Club to play host to the annual "Land of the Free Veterans Day Golf Classic". Scottsdale, AZ – This is the fourth year of the BCCGT. Proceeds will benefit the Semper Fi Fund, as they celebrate over eight years of serving our injured and critically ill Marines, Sailors, Soldiers, and their families.
The BCCGT-12 is a fun golf outing with many twists that make the event interesting. There is something on every hole of the event from Blind Man's Putt to using a Foot Wedge to Bowl-A-Rama.
