- Entry Fee: $125/person, individuals welcome (incl: Green Fee, Power Cart, Award Ceremony & Meal)

Monterey, CA -- The Naval Postgraduate School Foundation is once again hosting its annual America's Heroes Charity Golf Tournament and Auction to help military service members wounded-in-action. The NPS Foundation has chosen the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund, Sentinels of Freedom, Navy SEAL Foundation, and the Navy Marine Corps Relief Society as their wounded-in-action charity beneficiaries, who help direct aid to those most in need.

The tournament will be held at Monterey Peninsula Country Club in Pebble Beach, California on August 13, 2013.

For a fee of $850 per golfer or $150 per non-golfing dinner/auction guest, you can take part in the 2012 America's Heroes Charity Golf Tournament and lend a hand to those who have selflessly served our country. Included in the price of your golf outing is admission to the post-golf cocktail reception, silent auction, dinner, and live auction. A portion of the registration fees are tax deductible.

As the dust from the blast began to settle, Raymond Mackey knew his life had changed forever.

“We were doing a company-sized patrol near Marjah, Afghanistan – a sweep for improvised explosive devices,” said retired Marine Sgt. Maj. Raymond Mackey, 50, of Beulaville. “I was with the rear element with a couple Marines when a Marine fell into a ditch. I reached down to help him up right as the explosive was detonated.”

It was Dec. 23, 2009 and Mackey, the battalion sergeant major of 3rd Battalion, 10th Marines, was only a few weeks into his tour in Afghanistan. The explosive left him with both legs amputated above the knee, and severely wounded his right arm and injured his abdomen. Read the rest of this entry »

Rink Roast Fundraiser charleston SCPlease join us for the 42nd Annual RINK (Reserves in Nautical Kinship) Roast on November 9th, 2013 at 4pm at the Elks Lodge in Charleston, SC.  Together, a group of retired Naval officers meet annual to celebrate camaraderie along with a barbecue dinner, auctions, raffles and live music, all to benefit the Semper Fi Fund. This is the 6th year this dedicated group has supported Semper Fi Fund with this great event.

Institute Donates $25,000 to Semper Fi Fund

The Potomac Institute donated $25,000 to the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund, representing proceeds from sales of "Al Gray, Marine: The Early Years." Gen.
