New River Harley Davidson hosted its 5th annual chili cook-off Saturday, feeding a crowd of hundreds to benefit the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund.
The cook-off had 24 team entrants this year, and three received trophies at a 3 p.m. closing ceremony.
The team from Flanagan’s Bar received the Judges’ Choice award; Rolling Thunder took Peoples’ Choice; and team Stanfield Stampede received a trophy for Best Presentation.
The event also included a gun raffle and performances by the band Freeway.
The event raised about $3,500 to help and support wounded troops and their families.
