The Mount Pleasant natives plan on raising money for the Vickie S. Honeycutt Foundation which provides financial aid to educators with cancer.

Part of their funds will also benefit the Semper Fi Fund to support wounded soldiers as well as a food bank in their hometown.

They plan to be gone up to seven months, but said the support they have received from their family and friends will carry them through.
