Ride 430 rides again – more than $1 million in support over 6 years!

September 27th, 2013

Scottsdale, AZ - Hitting the hills of Arizona, the 54 amazing riders of Ride 430 will be riding in honor of our heroes for the sixth consecutive year having raised over $1 million in support for the Semper Fi Fund! Though the mission has not changed, the course certainly has!

Previously, the 430 mile ride ended in San Diego, but in order to increase the challenge, this year's route will go through 16,000 feet of vertical climbing in the beautiful Arizona mountains culminating in Mesa, AZ. This incredible journey will begin on October 9th and finish up on October 12th with the riders trekking more than 100 miles each day!

It's exciting to announce that Lance Corporal Ronny Porta will again be joining the team for the trek. Since he joined the team back in 2008, he has become an incredible inspiration! The Ride430 has also added a new member to their team, Ryan Pinney, who will be the first person to do the Ride 430 on a hand cycle. What an achievement!

Come join us as we cheer them in on Saturday, October 12th at the Arizona Wing of the Commemorative Air Force Aviation Museum in Mesa, AZ!
