Race Across the West

Oceanside, CA to Taos, NM

UPDATE: Congratulations to Marvin and Pam Atwood who finished the “Race Across the West” in 2 days, 16 hours and won the 2-person mixed division. They were also the first team overall, beating two 4-person all male teams. Marvin and Pam also finished ahead of 12 other “Race Across America” teams - mixed divisions and teams. On June 11th, 2008 Marvin and Pam Atwood, a husband and wife team of 35 years will begin their Race Across the West. This 1,037 mile non-stop bike race from Oceanside, CA to Taos, NM is in conjunction with Race Across America and the Atwood’s will donate 100% of all their contributions to the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund. Marvin and Pam have completed the Race Across America twice before and placed in the top ranks. On their third journey they plan to raise awareness and funds for the IMSFF.
