Twenty Injured Veterans from “Team Semper Fi” to Compete in 110 mile, “2010 Face of America Bike Ride” (Bethesda, MD to Gettysburg, PA via Fredrick, MD.)

Bethesda, MD to Gettysburg, PA - Team Semper Fi is an athletic team supported by the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund sports program that is comprised of more than 150 injured Veterans Athletes from across the country. Twenty of the team’s members will be competing in this weekend’s 2010 Face of America Bike Run, a 110 mile race from Bethesda, MD to Gettysburg, MD.

Spin Cyclist to Spin for 12 ½ Days for Injured Marines and World Record

Aurora, IL – Upon returning from a tour in Afghanistan as a law enforcement professional in support of Marines in May of 2009, George Hood, also a former Marine Corps officer, has been training diligently to break the world record for spin cycling and raise funding and awareness for the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund.
