The incredible support continues for the Semper Fi Fund and our program America's Fund! As this month marks the 238th birthday of the U.S. Marine Corps (November 10th), GoDaddy and The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation are giving our injured and critically ill service members and their families a very special gift. Dale City, VA - VFW Post 1503 in Dale City, Virginia, was the place to be on November 24 as hundreds of volunteers came together for the Semper Fi Fund’s fifth annual Purple Heart Ornament Packing Party.
The job at hand was to package and prepare more than 10,700 holiday ornaments for mailing, but the goal was singular: to help brighten the holidays for Marines who have been wounded since the attacks of 9/11 and are Purple Heart recipients. Read the rest of this entry »

DALE CITY, Va. – For the fifth year-in-a-row the Semper Fi Fund will be sending out more than 10,700 holiday ornaments to Marines who have been wounded since the attacks of 9-11 and are Purple Heart recipients. Willows, CA – For the fourth year in a row, Davidson Racing, the road racing team based out of Sparks, Nevada owned by Bob Davidson and managed by long-time NASA racer and crew chief Ron Carroll, will participate in the longest endurance car race in the world, 25 Hours of Thunderhill (see highlights from last year: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Yt-MtCDbDQ). The team will be racing two cars this year; the first will be a BMW powered Norma sports racer whose drivers will be: Bob Davidson, Brian Frisselle, Remo Ruscitti, Randy Pobst and Michael Valiante. The 2nd car will be an Elan V8 powered DR eagle prototype whose drivers will be: Bob Davidson, Burt Frisselle, Brandon Kraus, Anthony Lazzaro and Mark Wilkins. 100 percent of the Davidson Racing Team's race proceeds will be donated to the Semper Fi Fund. Townsend, DE - For the 6th year in a row, Townsend’s Bob Hairgrove will be lighting his home with an outdoor Christmas display of more than 150,000 lights and for the 2nd year, the display will also raise awareness and donations for the Semper Fi Fund. Baltimore, MD - A Marine Corps Veteran is cycling across America, going from Maine to California. Today in Howard County, FOX45 had the privilege of getting the meet the double amputee, who hopes to 'pay it forward.'
Rob Jones, a Marine Corps Veteran, was wounded in Afghanistan in 2011, when the IED he was searching for exploded. Jones lost both of his legs below the knee. Jones told FOX45 he wanted to do an adventure after he finished recovering.

Sean Carroll is pretty much like any other 29-year-old you might come across. He’s proud of his car (he owns a Mustang), he enjoys the outdoors (hunting and hiking), and he’s working on returning to school (Metro State in Denver).
